Narrative
WASHINGTON, PA – A male driver sustained injuries in a fiery solo crash along a roadway in central Washington County on Thursday night.
The incident happened around 7:05 p.m. in the area of 300 Welsh Road, which is on the northern outskirts of Washington in Chartiers Township.
Police haven’t yet identified the cause of the accident. They say a vehicle overturned and caught fire along Welsh Road and that the force of the crash ejected the driver.
Medics airlifted the victim to a hospital in Pittsburgh. His current condition is unknown.
