Narrative
Three teenage boys lost control of their car, entered another lane, and were then hit and pushed into a house on Route 724 on Feb. 6th. At 2:40p.m., the car entered the westbound lane and was hit. The incoming sedan struck the passenger side of the SUV and the SUV’s rear crashed into the house. In the SUV, there was a 17 year-old driver and two passengers, a 15 year-old and a 16 year-old. The other driver was Benjamin Smith, an 18 year-old. Everyone was taken to Reading Hospital but no further updates have been given on them. The roadway was closed off while the Troop L forensic services and crash reconstruction units investigated. The Monarch Fire Company, Birdsboro-Union Fire Department, and Boyertown Fire & Rescue all assisted in the initial response to the crash.
