SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, PA – A 56-year-old truck driver went to the hospital on Wednesday after his 18-wheeler overturned along the highway in Schuylkill Haven.
The incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. on OH-183 just south of Johns Road, which is north of Long Run Road and south of That Fudge Place.
Police say the driver was travelling at an unsafe speed, which caused his semi-truck to overturn, entrapping him in the vehicle.
Medics extricated the driver, identified as Gerald Jenkins, and transported him to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
The investigation is ongoing.
