Medics transported a man to the hospital in critical condition Tuesday after a single-vehicle collision in northeast Philadelphia. The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Borbeck Avenue. The investigation thus far indicates that a vehicle collided with a tree. It’s unclear at this time what caused the driver to crash. Police say he sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. A full investigation is underway.
