LOWER MACUNGIE TWP., PA – Two people were hurt Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision involving a Pennsylvania State Police Officer in Lower Macungie Township.
The incident happened in the afternoon at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Brookside Road, which is just southeast of Wescosville Memorial Park.
It’s unclear how the crash happened, but police say the driver of the black sedan became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication. Medics then transported the driver to a local hospital.
The Pennsylvania State Police Officer also went to the hospital for treatment of non-critical injuries.
