Narrative
PARADISE TOWNSHIP, PA – A 52-year-old woman died after losing control of her vehicle and crashing head-on with a semi along the highway in Paradise Township.
The incident happened Thursday along the Lincoln Highway East in east-central Lancaster County.
Police say that the driver of an eastbound 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway, re-entered Route 30 and crashed head-on into a semi-truck.
Medics transported the driver of the Chevy to the hospital, where she died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities identified her as Juliann O’Malley.
No other injuries were reported.
