Narrative
A semitruck went off the road then overcorrected and went back into the southbound lanes, across the median, and into the northbound lanes, hitting another semi and three cars on Route 33 on Mar. 1st. No information on the victims of the other semitruck or one of the passenger vehicles was provided. However, two of the passenger vehicles had their drivers killed and one of the passengers was also killed. The two drivers who died were in cars that were found underneath the semitruck that caused the accident, and they were both announced to be dead when their bodies arrived at hospitals. One of these victims had been sent to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono, while the other victim was sent to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest. The current condition of the at-fault driver and the cause of the accident is currently unknown. The accident had occurred at 10:37a.m. but it was not until 8p.m. that the road was opened back up. Authorities said the investigation may take a long time for such a serious accident.
