Narrative
FAYETTE CO., PA – Three people died this past Sunday after two vehicles collided along a busy roadway between Connellsville and Normalville.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. on Route 711, or Springfield Pike, near Mount Tabor Road, which is between Sandy Flat Road and Rich Hill Road.
Police say that an eastbound vehicle collided head-on with a westbound vehicle on Route 711. One of the two vehicles overturned, and three people died in the accident, including the driver of the first vehicle, identified as 38-year-old Raymond Ramage.
Authorities identified the other two victims as 28-year-old Peter Zepf and 25-year-old Katelin Lorch.
At this time, it’s not clear what caused the driver to enter the westbound lane.
