DAUPHIN CO., PA – One person died Thursday morning after a vehicle struck them along a highway in west-central Dauphin County.
The incident happened around 5:20 a.m. on PA-147 between US-22 and Mountain Road, which is just south of Inglenook.
Police confirmed that the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. They’ve not yet released the name of the deceased.
At this time, it’s still unclear if the vehicle involved in the crash stopped to rend aid and speak to authorities.
Officials closed the roadway for around three hours following the crash to clear the scene.
