Narrative
HALIFAX, PA – Medics dispatched an air ambulance to the scene of a head-on collision on a major roadway in western Dauphin County Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 6:35 a.m. on Route 225, or Peters Mountain Road, between Mountain Road and Creek Road.
The cause of the accident is unclear. Police say that an SUV and a second vehicle collided head-on, causing the latter vehicle to overturn.
Both of the drivers sustained injuries, and one went to the hospital via air ambulance. Officials have not yet clarified the nature of the victims’ injuries.
