ELIZABETHVILLE, PA – One person sustained serious injuries Friday in a single-vehicle crash outside of the Pennsylvania State Police Lykens Station.
The incident happened just after noon in the parking lot of 301 State Drive in Elizabethville. This is just northwest of US-209.
Police say that a driver crashed into the sidewalk pillars in front of the station. Medics transported the driver to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Nobody else was injured in the accident, but the the crash did damage the sidewalk and a second vehicle parked in the lot.
It’s not yet clear what caused the driver to crash their vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
