Narrative
PITTSBURGH, PA – Six people, including four children, went to the hospital on Monday after a head-on collision along West Carson Street in Pittsburgh.
The incident occurred just before 3:30 p.m. near the intersection with West Station Square Drive, which is just west of the river in the South Shore area.
Police say that a pickup truck collided heat on with an eastbound car when the driver of the former vehicle attempted a left turn onto Carson from a driveway.
Medics transported the driver of the pickup and all five occupants of the sedan to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
