Narrative
DENVER, PA – A passenger in a sedan died Saturday, and four others were injuries in a multi-vehicle crash along a highway in northeast Lancaster County.
The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Route 222 just north of Dry Tavern Road, which is in the town of Denver.
The investigation indicates that a Porsche SUV rear-ended a BMW when the latter vehicle slowed as a result of mechanical issues. The Porsche went on to collide with an Nissan SUV.
A passenger in the BMW, identified as 38-year-old Jazmin Dietrich, died after transport to Reading Hospital.
The three drivers and a passenger from the Nissan all went to the hospital with moderate injuries.
