Narrative
CHAMBERSBURG, PA – An 18-year-old man died Thursday from injuries sustained in a Wednesday night collision in Chambersburg.
The incident happened around 10:31 p.m. in the area of 4500 Wayne Road, which is between Church Road and Burkholder Road.
Police say that northbound Honda Civic veered into the southbound lane of Wayne Road and collided head-on with a southbound Jeep Renegade.
The driver of the Honda, identified as Logan Gilbert, died early the next morning after being airlifted to an area hospital.
Both the passenger from the Honda and the driver of the Jeep went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
