Narrative
YORK, PA – At least three people were involved in a three-vehicle crash at a major intersection just east of the interstate in York on Monday.
The crash happened sometime before 11:39 a.m. on Haines Road near Washington Road, which is just north of PA-124 and south of East York Elementary School.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Photos taken at the scene show three vehicles with heavy-front end damage. These include a tan van, a tan sedan, and a black or dark-colored CRV or SUV. The photos also indicate that airbags deployed during the collision.
The crash appears to have blocked at least one side of Haines Road while crews responded to the scene.
