Narrative
GAP, PA – A three-vehicle crash along the Lincoln Highway in east-central Lancaster County killed one person and critically injured two others.
The accident happened around 3:4o a.m. in the area of 5500 Lincoln Highway in Gap, which is just west of FM 2027 and The Brass Eagle.
Police have not yet commented on the cause of the accident. They say that two vehicles crashed into each other and that a third vehicle struck a barrier along the roadway while trying to avoid the other two cars.
A driver died in the collision. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
Medics transported two other people, a driver and a passenger, to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
